To come from Paris via the A6 highway:

  • Exit highway at exit 19, Auxerre Nord. From exit 19, you will need around 20 minutes to reach La Barbotière.

  • Take the direction of Auxerre.

  • Once on the N6, take the first exit on the right, direction Perrigny.

  • Cross Perrigny then Saint Georges sur Baulche.

  • At the first roundabout after Saint-Georges, continue straight on towards Chevannes.

  • Cross the village of Orgy while remaining in the direction of Chevannes.

  • After Orgy, at the stop at the bottom of the descent, turn right.

  • Enter the village of Chevannes. Then take the second left, following the ‘La Barbotière’ signboard.

  • After the church (on your right), another ‘La Barbotière’ signboard will lead you to turn left into the Route de Boiloup.

  • Continue for about 150m. La Barbotière is at number 4.

To come from Lyon via the A6 highway:

  • Exit highway at exit 20, Auxerre Sud. From exit 20, you will need around 20 minutes to reach La Barbotière.

  • Take the direction of Auxerre via the N65.

  • At the first roundabout, continue towards the center of Auxerre.

  • At the moment when the road becomes a one-way street, stay on the left and turn left towards the city center.

  • At the next roundabout where the Ibis Hotel is located, cross the bridge towards the city center.

  • Immediately after the bridge, turn left and then right onto boulevard Vaulabelle.

  • Go up the boulevard to reach a fork (roundabout). Turn left onto rue Bourneil.

  • Go up this street to reach a traffic light.

  • Continue straight (pass under a bridge) to exit Auxerre via the N151.

  • Then take a right on the D1 in the direction of Chevannes which will be reached after a few kilometers.

  • Enter the village of Chevannes. Then take the second left, following the ‘La Barbotière’ signboard.

  • After the church (on your right), another ‘La Barbotière’ signboard will lead you to turn left into the Route de Boiloup.

  • Continue for about 150m. La Barbotière is at number 4.
